About this piece

The Krisha kurta is hand block printed using the Kalamkari technique from Andhra Pradesh — one of India's oldest textile crafts where artisans use hand-carved teak blocks to press natural dye patterns onto pure cotton fabric. The circular floral motifs in black and beige are characteristic of traditional Kalamkari block work, where each impression is slightly unique.

Made from AZO-free pure cotton certified safe against skin irritants, this hand block printed kurta for women is breathable enough for year-round wear in Indian heat. The square neckline and 3/4 sleeve silhouette make it office-appropriate while the Kalamkari print keeps it distinctly Indian.
